Freedom for Syria

If I lived in Syria I would do try to resist the government. However, I would also be concerned for my safety and that would cause me to be very cautious. I would try to do underground resistance and utilize the internet to anonymously spread ideas and organize protests. If I could talk to a real Syrian freedom fighter I would ask them the following questions:

  • What actions would you like the international world to take?
  • Are you discouraged by how long your revolution is taking?
  •  What measures do you take to protect yourself and your  family?
  •  Does it surprise you the Bashar al-Assad, a man educated in Europe, is capable of being a brutal dictator?
  •  What actions are you taking to resist and revolt against the Assad regime?
I would also like to send a message of hope to the freedom fighters in Syria. Keep fighting for freedom. It might take awhile to gain freedom but it is worth it and it is possible, just look at Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya. You are not alone, people do care and they want to help you. Always remember what you stand for and fight for your beliefs.
